Nottingham Ukraine Solidarity Campaign Action – Sat 24th Nottingham City Centre
Since the beginning of September Ukraine has liberated over 8,000km2 of their territory, the UK’s support is helping, but its essential we supply more arms more rapidly if Ukraine is to maintain its offensive into 2023.
Ukraine has already made requests to the US and allies for significant packages of arms. The sooner the UK, US and allies provide the support requested, the sooner Ukraine can liberate all occupied territories, end this war in victory and secure an enduring peace. The sooner we act, further atrocities can be prevented and more lives can be saved.
Join us at 2pm on Saturday 24th at the Brian Clough Statue (BCS), King Street (NG1 2AS) to mark 7 months of full-scale invasion as we ask for the UK’s continued support and solidarity. We will march from BCS around Nottingham City Centre ending in the Old Market Sq. with a small number of speeches.
